South has hired Maximum Profit Specialist, Shane Bray of Lake Providence, Louisiana to serve farmers in southeastern Arkansas and northeastern Louisiana. Bray will provide professional agronomic support to farmers along with AgVenture® brand seed products.
AgVenture Mid-South CEO and General Manger, Terry Dulaney said, "Shane is actively working with many of the best growers in that region. He has excellent agronomic skills and enjoys his work and the relationship he has with his customers. We're very pleased to have Shane join our AgVenture Mid-South team."
Bray holds a Masters degree in weed science from Mississippi State University. He brings to the job several years of professional experience educating growers as a tech specialist for John Deere. In addition, he has worked in retail sales in agriculture. Bray said, "With AgVenture Mid-South, the focus is truly on the customer. We have the tools both in products and support that growers need to reach greater profitability on every acre. As a relationship-based ag professional, it's important that I work with growers, show up on their farms, follow behind the planter and work for them throughout the year."
Bray added, "Coming from John Deere, quality is number one. Working with AgVenture, I've been equally impressed or more so with the professionalism and attention to quality they place on every interaction."
AgVenture Mid-South continues to grow in size and scope. Dulaney adds, "Our ability to support customers throughout the year has proven very beneficial to their overall profitability. We work with growers to consistently attain higher yields, lower cost per bushel production price and achieve overall greater profitability on every acre. Our AgVenture University programs are both highly attended and regarded by farmers across the region. It's our goal to help our customers reach unprecedented yield. And many already are approaching or have crossed the 300-bushel per acre threshold."
Bray and his wife, Ashley, have two sons, Hunter and Mason.
